Trip Recap: 2017-12-09 on the Pacific Rim Highway to the Wild Pacific Trail

Back in early December 2017, I went over to Vancouver Island to drive on the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . 2017 turned out to be the “drive everything worth to be driven on the Island” year, which takes about 3 days... and then which I have done over 3 separate trips that year . As I go further back in time in my photo album, I will post them up when I get to them.

This was the trip that turned out to be much too cold for “fun” driving, as I had to cross over the Alberni Summit twice in 0C and what was described as !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . GoPro also failed and so I came back without much video. Hence my “extra” trip on the same route in July 2018, which you may have read about and seen the pictures here:

Although the actual driving is usually the main concern of these trips of mine, I now usually also try to find somewhere interesting to visit once I get to the end of the road. For this trip, I picked the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! in !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
